Griz Clinch Outright Conference Championship

MISSOULA, Mont. -- Junior running back Chase Reynolds rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns to lead the top-ranked (FCS Coaches Poll) University of Montana Grizzlies to an outright Big Sky Conference regular-season championship with a 31-10 victory over the visiting University of Northern Colorado Bears Saturday afternoon at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
It is the 12th straight Big Sky championship for the Grizzlies, who remained unbeaten at 10-0 and are now 7-0 in league games.
Montana has gone 30-1 in conference games the last four seasons and has won 42 of its last 43 regular-season games.
The Grizzlies are at Montana State next Saturday in their regular-season finale – the 109th Griz-Cat contest. Northern Colorado ends its season with a 3-8 record.
