Close to 300 people packed the Flathead County Fairground clinic Wednesday afternoon, waiting for their chance to get an H1N1 vaccination.
The Flathead County Health Department says the clinic had twice as may people able to give the vaccine than its previous clinics. That means people moved through the line fast. Also different? The clinic was moved to the Expo building at the fairgrounds so people waiting wouldn't have to stand in line outside.
The Health Department had just over 1,000 vaccines available at the clinic. Another Flathead County H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held, but the details haven't been released yet.
We have a correction about the Lincoln County H1N1 vaccines. The vaccination clinics will be at the Eureka Middle School.
On Tuesday, we said they were being held at the Libby Middle School. They'll actually be at Eureka. The clinics will be held November 5, 10 and 12 at the middle school from 3 to 5 p.m.
There are vaccination clinics being held in Libby, but there's a catch. The clinics are for kids returning for their second dose.
However, the Health Department is hoping to have some leftover for new vaccinations. The first clinic will be held November 18 at the Troy Senior Center from 1 to 4.
The second will be November 19 at the Libby Senior Center from 3 to 6.
