Missoula's Greater Downtown Master plan is a step closer to reality, following a hearing Monday night. The Missoula City Council sent the plan back to committee for further review and editing. The policy creates a guide for the city's sub-sections. One of the main priorities of the policy is to improve pedestrian access to the city. Roger Millar, with the city's Office of Planning and Grants says these plans are needed to continue to guide the growth in Missoula.
Millar said "This plan sets a pretty bold vision for the downtown and gives council and its partners in the private sector the tools to move forward."
